Just another day in the life of Bridget McGuire

So, when someone tells you they are going to a convention, or that they are working at a convention, I'm sure some typical shows come to mind ... The Car Show ... The Home & Garden Show ... The Boat Show. But when I say I am going to/working at a convention ... none of those are what I am talking about.

This weekend, St. Louis will host the 15th Annual Halloween & Attractions Show - Haunt Show. Yep, that's what I said, a Halloween convention. This is where the industry showcases their best and brightest, where the Haunt owners go to buy new props and animatronics for the upcoming season, and where they share ideas about what does and does not work!

Not only that ... but one of the Top 10 haunted houses in the country: The Darkness, will be offering a lights-on, and a lights-off tours of their haunted house the week of the show.
I guess I'm not your average girl. I'm not excited about looking at new cars, or new products for my home and garden, or a new jet ski. I'm exciting about looking at new creepy, scary stuff for our haunted house!! haha (But being average is pretty overrated in my book!)

That's it ... another day in the life of Bridget McGuire!

Cheers!
